Some weddings feel like a dream from the moment you step into them, and Rochelle and Byron’s day was exactly that. Held at The Rustic Olive Maleny, their wedding exuded effortless summer romance, inspired by the warmth and vibrancy of an Italian celebration. With a mix of bright, summery florals and soft pastels, the florals perfectly complemented the sunlit beauty of their day.

Their floral vision was all about colour, texture, and movement. Each bridesmaid carried an en masse bouquet in a single flower variety, thoughtfully matched to their dress—green hydrangeas, yellow carnations, and pink roses—a playful and elegant touch. Rochelle’s bridal bouquet was the ultimate garden-inspired dream, filled with floaty, romantic blooms that felt as effortless as it was breathtaking.

To bring their vision to life, we blended hydrangeas, garden roses, calla lilies, cosmos, dahlias, matricaria chamomile, and carnations into lush, textural designs. These flowers brought a soft, dreamy feel to the ceremony and reception, adding colour and depth to every space. But the true showstopper? Rochelle’s bouquet—a delicate, silk-tied masterpiece that danced in the breeze. Seeing Rochelle’s reaction as I handed over her bouquet—her eyes lighting up, her smile growing, was a moment I won’t forget. And the glowing compliments from the couple and their guests? The cherry on top!

For the first time at The Rustic Olive, we adorned their beautiful large tree swing with cascading florals, transforming it into a whimsical statement piece. Draped in bright, summery blooms, it became the perfect spot for quiet moments, stolen kisses, and, of course, a few breathtaking photos.

Beyond the florals, what stood out most was the sense of unity and joy among their guests. The entire day felt like one big family celebration, filled with laughter and heartfelt connection.
